International Epilepsy Day
On 9 February 2015 was the first International Epilepsy Day, which from now on will take place every second Monday of February. The day is a joint initiative of the IBE (International Bureau for Epilepsy) and the ILAE (International League Against Epilepsy) and will be celebrated in 138 countries around the world. The day is an important step to increase awareness about epilepsy and the need for more international epilepsy research as is being carried out in projects like EPITARGET!
