The Friedman laboratory from EPITARGET partner BGU was recently awarded a grant from the Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE), in collaboration with the Kaufer group in UC Berkeley, to continue their efforts towards the establishment of the Transforming Growth Factor Beta (TGFβ) pathway as a target for the prevention of post traumatic epilepsy (PTE).
